We have the waterfronts to lift any scene, be it a chase sequence, “that” kiss, or a chatty promenade.

Potters Fields Park

Film here for those iconic London shots: Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, Gherkin and the Walkie Talkie.

Filming in this private park in the borough of Southwark is managed by FilmFixer. The park is named after the Dutch potters who settled here in the early 1600s, leading to its later fame as the home of English Delftware production.
Overlooked by London’s most famous bridge, the park is a busy and attractive green space. And there is three-phase power in the park to boot! It’s a very popular location so please do check availability beforehand.

Building 1000

This sleek modern building with a magnificent glass atrium is opposite London City Airport and doubles beautifully as an airport.

Dockside views nearby include the rotating swing Connaught Bridge and The O2 arena.

For interiors, aside from the stunning entrance, there’s the canteen, along with offices and meeting rooms. Parking onsite and nearby is plentiful.

Being Newham Council’s head office, the space has to be booked on weekends or certain evenings. There’s more information here.

Kingston riverside (Queen’s Promenade)

You can hire boats along this scenic stretch of the Thames, taking the action out on to the water.

Or shoot a period scene by Kingston Bridge: Grade II listed and built with Portland stone, it opened in 1828.

There are stunning views across to Hampton Court Park, and the river is home to regal swans and other wildlife.

There’s also plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along the riverside.

Regent’s Canal – Colebrooke Row

This is one of the sweetest canal stretches, with willows, colourful barges and houseboats, and quaint bridges. It’s the backdrop to Lilting, a new Film London Microwave feature starring Ben Whishaw.

Access to the canal is managed by FilmFixer on behalf of Islington Council. Filming on or beside the canals can be arranged through the Canal & River Trust, who will advise on safety procedures, lead-in times, and relationships with the public who use the towpaths for running and cycling. They can be contacted on filming.photography@canalrivertrust.org.uk.
